LabVantage LIMS Developer
Location: St. Louis, MO
Company: Fortune 100 Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Initial term: 18 months (position expected to run longer)
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize LabVantage LIMS solutions to meet the needs of the organization
- Perform system testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of LabVantage solutions
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and releases
- Provide support to and assist with training of end-users on the use of LabVantage LIMS
- Develop reports leveraging lab test results
- Provide recommendations on best practices for LabVantage out of the box functionality
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in LabVantage technology
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or commensurate experience)
- 5+ years of experience in LabVantage LIMS development and customization
- Must have knowledge of LabVantage LIMS, including but not limited to configuration and understanding of LabVantage web pages, dashboards, and API's
- Strong knowledge of laboratory workflows and processes
- Strong relational database knowledge and experience using SQL Server
- Strong Java, J2EE architecture, JavaScript, JSP, and DHTML/Web Page development including client-side scripting to add major functionality to the product line
- Strong understanding of JBOSS application server
- Experience with report development tools such as Jasper, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Power BI, etc.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in LabVantage LIMS administration and/or development is a plus
